Question and Answer

Q. Can KS2 open .kar files??

KAR files are a common karaoke file format that combine Midi sequencing with lyrics. Currently KS2 cannot open these files but, our development team is working on this file format. KS2 opens most other types of audio (mp3, .wav, .aif, m4a, .aac, .wma, mp1, and .cda) video (.avi, mp4, .mpg, .mov, wmv, webm, and Karaoke formats (.bin, cd+g, .dat, cd+g zipped). It also can rip VCD, DVD's and CDs.

Stay tuned to this newsletter to stay abreast of progress on .kar files.
